Kindness

Sometimes kindness is a genuine smile or empathetic nod. Other times, it's going out of your way for someone else. Helping others feel good about the decisions they make by providing guidance and coaching them through difficult times.

Kindness is my friend who offered to help me out yesterday and my husband who just put gas in my car so I don't have to worry about it. Kindness is also giving myself a break from writing last night and using the small amount of leisure time I had to relax with my husband and watch the Dick Van Dyke Show. Happy Friday.

    2. Aww, that is so nice of you to say. I feel the same way too about you.

I wanted to comment here about what you said as your comment on TR so you'd be sure to see it. I appreciate what you said more than you'll ever know. Talk about kindness. What YOU said I will carry in my heart always and bring to mind when I feel like giving up on my writing.

You are a wonderful inspirational writer. Keep that in YOUR heart!

    1. Thank you. Sometimes, I think of kind things to do but don't always act on them. I have this tendency that people can read my mind. I'm working on this.

  5. It's so nice to have someone do something kind for us. My husband helps me with the gas in my car too because I always forget.

    1. Me, too. My husband is never surprised any more when he gets in my car and it's on empty. It sort of has become the norm. Thank goodness for thoughtful husbands:)

  6. It's those small acts of kindness that really count. Like when someone makes you a coffee or a cup of tea when you are feeling down or stressed.

    1. Yes, these are wonderful acts of kindness. I remember one day my husband came into my office. I was meeting with someone so he waited until I was through. I thought that something might be wrong but he just surprised me with a necklace that I had been wanting. I was so surprised.

  7. i love it when the car is filled with gas and I didn't do it. That is one of my favorite acts of kindness! Someone else doing the dishes is also, always, appreciated!
